I was really planning on writing something brilliant today.  Something to lift spirits and inspire others to go out and conquer the world.  One of those once in a lifetime nuggets of wisdom that you would want to print out and tape to your computer.  Then I realized there are all ready so many other nuggets of wisdom floating around out there that I decided to pass a few of those around instead.  Enjoy the wisdom of others and if you see one (or two or three) that you like, by all means...SHARE...;~)

    I love the first quote. My all time favourite is:-

    If someone insults you, top it. If you can't top it, laugh it off. If you can't laugh it off, you probably deserve it.

      I know that feeling. I go about things in a different way to most people and am often misunderstood until realisation dawns and they say 'Oh I get it now'. The chief problem is peoples tendency to judge others by their own standards.

    I love the Michelangelo one. We should all aim high... As long as it doesn't leave us dissatisfied. Hmmmm.. On second thoughts I'll tape up the one about worrying! Thanks for sharing.

      Hi Susanna! I think my favorite is the one from Albert Einstein. I've been misjudged a lot in my life and it can certainly color how one sees oneself. I don't worry about that much any more though...I'm too busy proving them wrong...;0)
