BOOK NOOK REVIEWS: Erik Weibel

**This week's BOOK NOOK REVIEWS shines a spotlight on great books provided by some of the authors participating in my annual FREE AUTHOR PROMOTION event held each May in my city. Help support these new and established authors by checking out their books!***

Title: The Adventures Of Tomato And Pea
Author: Erik Weibel
Publisher: CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform
Ages 8-12

"'Tomato, I know you want to help, but half our population is gone or enslaved. The government is no longer functioning. We are down to just a few of our bases and our agents are injured or missing,' Marsh replied. 'We've thrown everything we have at the Wardoes. They can't be stopped. There is nothing we can do.'

Tomato took a step toward the hatch. Marsh's eyes widened. 'I WILL stop them,' Tomato insisted."

Synopsis: A rookie named Tomato, a sidekick named Pea and an arch-nemisis named Wintergreen are trapped on a runaway rocket that crashes on a strange planet called "EAR-TH". Now these perennial enemies must learn to work together to survive the dangers of this strange world and maybe find a way home.

Why you should read it: I've known Erik of the This Kid Reviews Books blog for a number of years and watched him grow into a fine young author. He uses all the elements of a strong story like interesting characters, suspenseful obstacles to overcome, and the universal theme of good versus evil to take his readers on an adventure they won't soon forget!

Like-O-Meter Rating: 5 out of 5...Grab it!
