Misbehaving students of Ms. Jenkins' class think they have it made when they refuse to stop their monkey business. But they are in for a surprise one day when the new substitute creacher comes to the classroom! Keth the glue-eater, Hank the prankster, and Zach the daydreamer are only some of the mischief makers who quickly find out what happens to kids to don't want to follow the rules.
Yeesh!... this looks a creepy creature story to me, but one my young nephew would absolutely love...lol.
ReplyDeleteHi Diane! The book cover caught my eye...I think I would love reading this one! ;~)

I was never a "monkey business" kind of student. (Well there was that one time in 5th grade.) But this isn't about me. The book should wake up a few kids.
ReplyDeleteLol...you were four years ahead of me, Janet, so I don't know what kind of "monkey business' you might have gotten into, but I do know everywhere I went I heard, "Oh, so YOU'RE Janet's little sister!" Hard to fill those superstar shoes...;~)

I'll be substituting this year - maybe I could get some pointers from the book :-)
ReplyDeleteHi, Li, and welcome to my blog! I wish you luck with substituting. Maybe you can read this book to your classes to nip anything in the bud? ;~)

ReplyDeleteHi Erik! I agree...I think the next time I'm at the library I need to see if they carry this book...;~)
