Why I liked it: Over the years I have quite literally read thousands of books but NONE have touched my spirit like this one. Every time I read it (and I've read it hundreds of times over the years) tears well up as I can feel the love the tree has for the little boy. It is such a beautiful story of what its like to be unconditionally loved.
