If you are like me, when you first read that word...deaconing...you probably thought my post would have something with the Catholic church and it's hierarchy. Well this word CAN mean that, but there is another meaning to the word that actually makes me think of my writing. Deaconing can also mean putting the best things you have on top of the pile. Kinda like putting your best foot forward. Or in my case, my best words whenever I submit a manuscript for possible publication. How about you? How much deaconing have YOU done lately?
