Some of the things found in the world today actually have been around for quite some time. Here's a look at some food items that have been around since the 1800's. Did YOU know when these items were created/invented?
Johnnycakes
JOHNNYCAKE: A flat cake made from cornmeal and water or milk, fried on a griddle or in a frying pan.
JULEP: A mixed drink made from alcohol, sugar, water, and usually mint leaves.
