Why I liked it: I grew up on the magical worlds Mr. Mayer created with his Little Critter series. In JUST GO TO BED, adorable illustrations compliment the imaginative story line every kid (and parent) can identify with as variations of this same nightly bedtime ritual is repeated all over the world.
I think I must have read one of these Little Critter books when I was younger because this art looks very familiar.
