You Be The Judge...

I enjoyed the challenge and fun of the "double header" theme of the A to Z Challenge so much that I got to thinking about my every day blog.  I love the wonderful comments that so many of you leave...letting me know you find my uplifting posts a highlight of your day.  I've thought about at least two other ways I can add to your reading enjoyment and thought I'd let YOU be the judge as to whether you would like me to add these tidbits to my blog...

In addition to my regular Tuesday posts, I could end by giving one of my "teasers" about a children's book I have come across.  Many people seemed to enjoy the ones I talked about during the challenge and I thought my readers might like me to continue doing this...YOU be the judge as to whether I add this feature or not...

Life can be a little crazy at times and humans tend to do some bizarre, funny things at the oddest moments.  I thought about adding some strange, kooky, funny tidbits on Wednesday as a way to help some of my readers get over "hump day".  Who knows, maybe one of you will turn a "Wild Wednesday" idea into an award winning story!  As I said, YOU be the judge as to whether I add this feature or not...

Thank you again for being the wonderful followers that you are and while I'm not trying to drastically change the way I do my blog, I'm also trying to avoid THIS...

    1. Hi Susanna! My "Wild Wednesday" idea is something I did for a couple of years at one of my old day jobs as a moral booster...until management told me my five minute preparation of the message was deterring me from my work and "bothering" the other employees who chose to open my clearly marked emails. Obviously I don't work THERE any more...I was too upbeat for them...;0)

Thanks for stopping by and come back any time!

  2. Both sound like fun. If I have to pick one, it would be Wild Wednesday.

    1. Hi Janet! I didn't actually think about people trying to decide "between" one or the other but that's okay too...lol...there are a lot of great blogs out there doing book reviews but I wonder how many are doing what I was thinking about doing with my Wild Wednesday idea...;0)

  4. Platform is nice and all but variety is what makes a blog interesting to me. Just have fun with whatever you do, and we'll all enjoy it too!

    1. Hi Sandra and welcome to my blog! I am so honored to meet you and I think what you are doing for children everywhere is so commendable! I visited your blog and when I saw that you talked about the person I most admire in all the world...Gandhi...I just HAD to become a follower!

Thank you for your kind words and I hope I am able to spread a little sunshine for many posts to come...;0)

  9. Hi! Just wanted to pop over and see your blog. I love how you use three or four bold photos in each post to illustrate your point and break up the paragraphs. It's so nice. See you around and thanks for visiting me.

P.S. Do you think I should call Story Element #7 WORDS or LANGUAGE? (or word play or something else?)

    1. Hi Christie and welcome to my blog! When I think of the word "language", I think strictly about grammar or sentence structure and I don't think that is your intention. I think you really are meaning "words"...how we use them to strengthen our stories...but that is just my opinion for what it's worth...;0)

I appreciate your kind words regarding the look of my posts and maybe you would like to come back tomorrow to see my tribute post to Maurice Sendak?

Thanks for stopping by and come back any time!
