Writing With Style

I do not want to be considered a writer that just doesn't get it.  A writer that throws mismatched words together just to see how it fits.  I want to be more than that.  I want to be a writer with style...

I want my words to have symmetry.  With a little bit of ruffle to it so my stories can sway in the wind.

And who doesn't feel stylish with a pretty pair of pumps?  With THESE beauties on my feet, I know I can outshine any other writer out there!

What ensemble would be complete without a juicy purse to complete the outfit?  And who wouldn't want to carry around an oldie but a goodie?

On second thought, I don't need all of that to write with style.  I already have what it takes to write creative stories.  Maybe I'll just kick back in my favorite blue jeans and an old t-shirt...

  1. Words really do clothe us don't they? And they say as much about us as the garments hanging in our closets.

    1. I agree, Stephen...the clothes in our closets can hide our flaws but the consistency of our words show the world who we really are...if they just take the time to read them...

  3. Haha nice! I went to conference last year and girl I was talking to wore red pumps because she figured that if she has the courage to walk around in red shoes then she can also approach strangers at the conference and introduce herself. I thought that was cool.

    1. Well, I went on an interview to work at a bank in Dallas once wearing a red dress, sheer red stockings and bright red shoes. And yes, I got the job! ;0)
