  2. Yeah, it's amazing how strong one little kitty can be when he wants something!

  3. Loved this post Donna. Your cat sounds so like my old cat used to be. She always thought she was the boss.....

  4. I used to have three of them...momma cat, first baby cat, and this one. You should have seen how they all fought for "lap time" with me...and I NEVER came out the winner! ;0)

  5. Now, see? I don't have cats, so I just assumed you were talking about a dog - waking you up because he wanted to go out :) Just goes to show how readers bring their own perspectives!

  6. I love my cats, but I love my sleep more. My solution has been a scat mat in front of my closed bedroom door and ear plugs for the mewing. The mat gives off a small shock when stepped on. It only takes one shock to train the cat not to step on it again. A dog needing to go out would be a whole different thing, though.

  7. Susanna, how funny! I never envisioned a dog as I was writing this post...even when I re-read it, so I guess that does show how readers bring their own perspectives!

  8. Diane, I had not heard of a scat mat before. I don't know if I could do that to Tommy as he has been my guardian and protector for ten years now and gets extremely upset if he can't be by my side....I guess that's worth a knuckle chewing here and there...lol...
